I stayed here with my partner at the start of November last year (2023), and from stepping into the front entry it was so quiet and clean. The reception people were lovely, the public spaces were open, roomy, and so clean, and having a nice coffee machine available 24/7 with actual decaf in there was a novelty for me! Our apartment was just that - an apartment. Sitting area, kitchen and counter space, bedroom and bathroom, all spotless and really spacious. We used the gym as well, which did get a bit busy when 5 people website were using it, but everyone was polite and the gym space was again very clean. I also used the free laundry room - after a day out in Birmingham during torrential rain I needed to dry my trainers as they were absolutely soaked through!
The facility I liked the less was the Gym, very basic, and I mean, pointless as a facility. Whether breakfast was included, I'll not chose to repeat once and again; everyday the same menu, pelo a la cart choices and quite basic. Breakfast and the gym are the less impressive services of the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is one of the most well connected hotels in town. I'll certainly be back.

However, my experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the room supervisor. She barged into our room without knocking, and treated us like criminals. She did not apologize for her behavior, and I felt like my privacy had been violated. Barging into a guest's room without knocking is unacceptable, and it is a violation of the guest's right to privacy.
The hotel staff can be slightly blunt, when asking why I have yet to receive my £40 deposit back, I was told it takes 5-7 days and if it exceeds this time period assume it is being taken for damages. We did not cause any damages, the room was left how it was found. I am upset with this and I’m considering whether I will be booking this hotel again.
Good casino, the girls at the reception are kind and the people inside too. They have 2 roulette tables and many other games to play. I had a good time there.

I guess prices are typical of venues nowadays. Ticket price was high but you do get a full days entertainment so better value than say a premiership football match.
